Bio

Roberto Barbato, born in Bagheria (Italy) in 1951, started as a young professional photographer.
After working as a newspaper «L’Ora» of Palermo with Letizia Battaglia, dealing mainly with the sporting events of that newspaper, in 1979, he moved to Milan and began working as a reporter for the the television and photographic services all over the world, following the main international MotorSport events: Formula 1, World Prototype Championship, World Rally Championship, etc.
Already teacher in Photography, Theory and Method of Mass Media, Shooting Techiques, he taught these subjects at the Academies of Fine Arts in Milan-Brera, Venice, Palermo, Naples, Urbino.
Roberto Barbato, has exhibited his works in several photographic exhibitions: New York University, Rght Brain Gallery Atlanta, Italy America Chamber of Commerce, Venice Art Factory, Valenciannes University (Spain), Stand Florio Palermo, etc.
